| Milford Daily News 28 May 2011 Bruce E. Aldrich, Sr., 62, of Upton, died Thursday, May 26, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Kathleen P. (Tilton) Aldrich and a lifelong resident of Upton. Mr. Aldrich was born in Northbridge, son of Grace R. (Brothers) Aldrich of Upton and the late Donald J. Aldrich. In addition to his wife of over 36 years and mother, he leaves one son, Bruce E. Aldrich, Jr. and wife Leigh of Littleton; a daughter, Tara Jayne (Aldrich) Beaupre and husband Ron of Douglas; five grandchildren; a brother, Stephen Aldrich of Mesa, AZ; one sister, Donna Aldrich of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; and many nieces and nephews, including Jeffrey McFetridge of Northbridge. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton, with a funeral Mass, at 10 a.m., in Holy Angels Church, Milford St., Upton. Private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, May 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Upton Fishing Derby, c/o the Upton Police Association, 30 School St., Upton 01568.
